Sandhurst Leadership Challenge is held at the ROYAL MILITARY ACADEMY SANDHURST, one of the UK’s most prestigious military locations. We regularly organise a two-day challenge at Sandhurst in aid of Help for Heroes where organisations are pitted against each other over a series of mental, physical and commercial challenges, culminating in a race to save their ‘Hero’ by navigating Sandhurst’s famous assault course, rafting across the lake and finishing an exhilarating two days by crossing the finish line in front of Old College.This agreement enables us to use the Academy’s facilities, which include classrooms, prestige rooms for dining, accommodation and the vast grounds that include manicured lawns, lakes and training areas used by the cadets. On Saturday (4th March), more than seventy personnel from some of the biggest names in British industry took part in a tailor-made leadership challenge day held at the nation’s prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in Surrey, where all officers in the British Army are trained to take on the responsibilities of leading the soldiers under their command. Sandhurst Leadership Challenge 2018 The Leadership Training Day offers a unique opportunity to develop the leadership and teamwork skills of your executives and managers under the expert guidance of the Reserve Forces. An understanding of these in a military context can be very helpful in transferring their obvious applicability into business life.Feedback from all our programmes demonstrates that ‘the Sandhurst experience’ has a direct and positive impact back at the workplace. We use military leadership analogies only where appropriate and in some circumstances we are able to call on serving and ex-military personnel to give us the benefit of their experiences of leading under extreme pressure.
