This was our first visit to the restaurant and we can not say enough about how wonderful of an experience it was.

It was a fantastic experience with great food and amazing service. Funny. Authentic. Portions were large, we took half our pasta dish home. We are a locally owned, casual and authentic Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Saskatoon.
Compliments to Chef Jesse not only does he create a culinary work of art, each dish is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the tastebuds. I’ve been dreaming about going back for the veal! Buon Appetito! Our appetizers were so flavourful however our mains, the risotto and ravioli, needed salt and the portion of risotto was extremely small (for $60 - with white truffles). Waiter was knowledgeable and gave us good advice.

I left to wait for the text that I never received. Chef came out and just began serving us. Luigi the chef came out to great us and discuss our evening, he provided an outstanding culinary experience for our anniversary by surprising us and creating a delicious 3 course menu, along with a wine pairing, his service was impeccable never letting our wine glasses empty. Will be going back again!The food is magical and the service is second to none. Italian.

Two of our dining party were a bit disappointed with their meal. Daily flavour of set pudding, fresh fruit and nut crumbleMushrooms, peas, sausage, rosé pesto sauceWe chose to Celebrate our 2nd anniversary at La Cucina. Cool. Our only issue was the fact that the Caesar salad was not as described on the menu, and we were not told that the menu option was not available. Fresh made in-house pasta was perfect. The food was amazing! They try to upsell a lot but were friendly about it. We started with the buffalo mozzarella appetizer and each had a different entree: two pennes and the risotto with mint and pea. I will be back very soon!Luigi is a great host, and the food was well done. Rich in flavour, comforting and left us beyond satisfied. It was an incredible experience with great food. We followed Luigi's suggestions and started with stuffed calamari and the best scratch made pastas I've ever had outside of my Nona's kitchen.
